Summary: The 1998 Annual Construction Program has a Project Nos. 20, Bridge Approaches. This project will be
paid for with local and federal funds.
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION.•
Recommend establishment of CRP 996004 and 997004, construction of bridge approach and bridge guardrails at the
intersection of Behme and Valley View Roads and approval of award of contract to the lowest bidder, Coral
Construction Company, in the.amount of $ 67,173.

WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program as Item
No. 20.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 996004 is formally established for the construction of bridge and bridge approach
guardrails at the intersection of Behme (996004) and Valley View (997004) Roads.
The Contract for this project is awarded to Coral Construction in the amount of their bid of
$67,173.13; and
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget and based on the County
Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
