1 RESOLUTION NO. 98 -001
2 CANCELLING UNCOLLECTIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES
3 WHEREAS, RCW 84.56.240 requires that the Treasurer present the County Auditor
4 with a list of uncollectible personal property taxes, for delivery to the Whatcom County Council;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, the County Auditor did receive the document as required; and
7 . WHEREAS, Council action is required to formally cancel the uncollectible personal
8 property taxes;
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.by the Whatcom County Council that the list
10 of uncollectible personal property taxes, attached hereto as Exhibit A, are hereby cancelled.
11 APPROVED this 13 day ofJanuary1998.
