RE: Repeal of WCC 2.22A — Department of Nor -Bell Care Center
DATE: April 14, 2000
While doing some work in the Whatcom County Code recently, it was
discovered that the chapter providing for the Nor -Bell Care Center was still
contained in the code. Since the Nor -Bell facility has not been in operation since
the late 1980's, it seems appropriate to repeal this chapter of the code.
Therefore, I am submitting an ordinance to repeal Chapter 2.22A of the
Whatcom County Code.

Department of Nor -Bell Care Center.

REPEAL OF WCC 2.22A— Department of Nor -Bell Care Center
WHEREAS, the Department of Nor -Bell Care Center was established on January I, 1987;
and
WHEREAS, services provided by said department were determined no longer to be
necessary and the department has not been in existence since the late 1980's; and
WHEREAS, there does not appear to be any need to continue to list this department in the
Whatcom County Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatwm County Council that Chapter
2.22A of the Whatcom County Code is hereby repealed in its entirety.
ADOPTED this 16 day of May , 2000.
