RESOLUTION NO. 2000 -035
ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 997012
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE REPLACEMENT
OF STEIN ROAD BRIDGE NO. 92 OVER DAKOTA CREEK
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program as Item
No. 9.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 997012 is formally established for the Replacement of Stein Road Bridge No.92
Over Dakota Creek.
The Contract for this project is awarded to One Way Construction Inc. in the amount of
their bid of $ 279,364.45.
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget and based on the County
Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
PURPOSE AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION
Preliminary Engineering $ 23,000.00
Right -of -Way $ 5,000.00
Subtotal $ 28,000.00
Construction Contract $ 279,400.00
Construction Engineering $ 17,600.00
Total $325,000.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the construction is to be accomplished by Contract in
accordan ce with RCW 36.7 7.020 et. seq.
