ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 992224
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE
YEW STREET ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted Annual Road Program as Item
No.l
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 992224 is formally established for the Yew Street Road Improvements
The Contract for this project is awarded to Colacurcio Bros. Gravel & Excavation, Inc.
in the amount of their bid of $2,688,621.93
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget and based on the County
Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
PURPOSE AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION
Preliminary Engineering $207,00 0
Right -of -Way 40,000.
Subtotal
$ 247,000.
Construction Contract
$ 2,688,700.
Construction Engineering
$ 165,500.
Total $3,101.200.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the construction is to be accomplished by Contract in
accordance with RCW 36.77.020 et. seq.
