NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council: That CRP 900901 is formally established for the Structural Overlay of Grandview Road - Jackson Road to Blaine Road. The Contract for this project is awarded to Wilder Construction Co. in the amount of their bid of $ 348,655.00. Based on a review of the two bids received, it is recommended that the contract for the subject project be awarded to the low bidder, Wilder Construction Company, in the amount of $348,655.00 including taxes. This project is listed as Item No. 11 on the 2000 Annual Construction Budget which was adopted by Council on November 9, 1999. Sufficient funds exist to complete the project. Local funds are involved. Attached for your review is a copy of the low bid proposal, tabulation of all bids, Resolution for Contract Award, Whatcom County Contract Information Sheet, and a Whatcom County Council Agenda Bill.
