'UMMARY STATEMENT:
The attached list of equipment has been determined to be
surplus and available for disposal by public auction. The
Council may find by resolution, following a public hearing that it
is in the public interest to declare the property surplus and
make said property available to sell by public auction.

RESOLUTION NO. 2000 -015
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE
SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
AND THE SETTING OF A DATE FOR PUBLIC
HEARING THEREON PURSUANT TO WCC 1.10
WHEREAS, the following described property listed in Exhibit "A ", hereby incorporated by
reference, is now and has been the property of Whatcom County; and
WHEREAS, the County Purchasing Agent has determined that it is in the best interest of the
County to sell such property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that a public
hearing on the matter of the sale of such property be held on the 18th of Apra t 2000 at or as
soon thereafter as is possible, in the Whatcom County Council Chambers at 311 Grand Avenue..
Bellingham, Washington, for the purpose of admitting testimony for and against the propriety of
selling such equipment; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County Council is directed to give notice of
such hearing in the manner prescribed by law.
