The Washington Community Economic Revitalization Team (WA -CERT) requests each county to prioritize economic
development projects that we submitted to the county. WA -CERT then takes those ranked projects and attempts to assist in
funding through the federal Economic Assistance Initiative. The local prioritization process gives the county the opportunity to
ensure that projects are consistent with county and regional planning and economic diversification strategies.
