legal requirement for the disposal. The Water Resource division

appropriate need to restrict the movement of this process.

RESOLUTION NO. 2002 -056
HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
REQUEST NO. 03 -02
WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been the property of the
County of Whatcom, State of Washington since: as noted per parcel below and,
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best interest of the County
and the people thereof that said property be sold; and,
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Property Management Committee recommends the
sale of the subject property to effectively meet the legal requirement for disposal; and,
WHEREAS, the Water Resource division of Whatcom County Public Works reviewed
the parcels and does not see an appropriate need to restrict the movement of this process;
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest of the County to
10 sell:

14 The principal taxes, interest, penalty, title search and foreclosure costs total 5$ 77.03.
15 to the highest and best bidder; and,
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that a public hearing
17 on the matter of the sale of said property, under said terms, be held on the i0 day of December
IS 2002, at / p.m., at the County Council Chambers, Whatcom County, Washington; and,
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County Council shall give
20 notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law under RC W 36.34.030.
