6 RESCINDING THE ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SOLID WASTE PETTY
7 CASH MANAGEMENT REVOLVING FUND

9 WHEREAS, Whatcom County no longer has solid waste disposal sites; and
10 WHEREAS, cash receipts are no longer collected by the Solid Waste
11 Management Fund; and
12 WHEREAS, Solid Waste Management is no longer in need of a revolving fund;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that
14 the Solid Waste Management Petty Cash Revolving Fund shall be closed and THREE
15 HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300.00) shall be returned to the Solid Waste Management
16 Fund.

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SOLID
5 WASTE MANAGEMENT REVOLVING FUND

WHEREAS, attendants at County solid waste disposal sites
7
are frequently required to make change when collecting disposal
6
fees; and,
9
WHEREAS, the establishment of a revolving fund would im-
10
11 prove control over cash receipts collected at such facilities) and,
WHEREAS, sufficient monies do exist in the Solid Waste
12
Management Fund to allow for the creation of Arevolving fund)
13
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County
14
Council that the Solid Waste Management Revolving Fund is hereby
15
established and the County Treasurer is authorized to issue a check
16
in the amount of THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300.00) to said fund from
17
the Solid Waste Management Fund.

HE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the custodians of this iYhd

shall be the Director of Public Works end /or the Public Wortn Fiecel
