SOMMARYSTATEMENT
The Coun En eer's office erformed a review of certain Coun
ty g� P ty
roads recently constructed or impacted through development
activities, and found that conditions warrant the establishment of 25
miles- per -hour speed limits on said roads.

AN ORDINANCE REGARDING ESTABLISHMENT OF SPEED LIMITS
ON CERTAIN COUNTY ROADS
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council is authorized under RCW 46.61.415 to
establish speed limits on certain County roads; and
WHEREAS, a review was conducted by the County Engineer' s office; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the speed limits be established as
follows:
1) 25 mph on all roads within the plat of Drayton Heights, Section 19, Township
40 North, Range 1 East, W.M.
2) 25 mph on Judy Way from Axton Road to Deer Creek Drive, Section 27,
Township 39 North, Range 2 East, W.M.
3) 25 mph on all roads within the plat of Baker Creek Estates, Section 8, Township
38 North, Range 3 East, W.M.
4) 25 mph on all roads within the plat of Woodlake Meadows Estates, Section 15,
Township 38 North, Range 3 East, W.M.
5) 25 mph on all roads within the plat of Schultz Acres, Section 11, Township 39
North, Range 2 East, W.M.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to post the
appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the Washington State Patrol be
notified by a copy of this ordinance.
Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to Whatcom County Code, Section
10.04.030.
