Supplemental 41 requests funding from the General Fund.
(1) To appropriate $51,357 in the Jail budget for an additional inmate work crew.
The work crew is being funded by the Flood Control Zone District.
(2) To appropriate $10,000 to provide Law & Justice Council funding.

ORDINANCE NO. 2003 -017
AMENDMENT NO. 1 OF THE 2003 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2003 budget was adopted November 12, 2002; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2003 budget;
and,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the W hatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2003
W hatcom County Budget Ordinance #2002 -370 is hereby amended by adding the following
additional amounts to the budgets included therein:
