RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -056
HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
REQUEST NO. 080803
1 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been the property of the
2 County of Whatcom, State of Washington since: as noted per parcel below and,
3 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best interest of the County
4 and the people thereof that said property be sold; and,
5 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Property Management Committee recommends the
6 sale of the subject property by public auction to effectively meet the legal requirement for
7 disposal; and,
8 WHEREAS, the Water Resource division of Whatcom County Public Works reviewed
9 the parcels and does not see an appropriate need to restrict the movement of this process;
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest of the County to
11 sell:

13 CABANA CLUB CONDOMINIUM UNIT 208 -UNDIV 1/48 INT IN TSU F -30
14 The principal taxes, interest, penalty, title search and foreclosure costs total $858.53
15 to the highest and best bidder; and,
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that a public hearing
17 on the matter of the sale of said property, under said terms, be held on the 23 day of Sept.
18 2003, at 7 p.m., at the County Council:' Chambers , Whatcom County, Washington; and,
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Wbatcom County Council shall give
20 notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law under RCW 36.34.030.
