RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -055
HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
REQUEST NO. 07 -03
1 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been the property of the
2 County of Whatcom, State of Washington since: as noted per parcel below and,
3 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best interest of the County
4 and the people thereof that said property be sold; and,
5 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Property Management Committee recommends the
6 sale of the subject property by public auction to effectively meet the legal requirement for
7 disposal; and,
8 WHEREAS, the Water Resource division of Whatcom County Public Works reviewed
9 the parcels and does not see an appropriate need to restrict the movement of this process;
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest of the County to
11 sell:

13 CABANA CLUB CONDOMINIUM UNIT 201 -UNDIV 2/48 INT IN TSU C -3 -39
14 The principal taxes, interest, penalty, title search and foreclosure costs total $1,530.0 0
15 to the highest and best bidder; and,
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that a public hearing
17 on the matter of the sale of said property, under said terms, be held on the 23 day of Sept.
is 2003, at? p.m., at the County Council Chambers Whatcom County, Washington; and,
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County Council shall give
20 notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law under RCW 36.34.030.
