RESOLUTION NO. 200_ a -o5_
ENDORSING THE EXPANSION OF THE DEMING LIBRARY
WHEREAS, the Friends of the Deming Library have undertaken an expansion
project; and
WHEREAS, the Friends are seeking the endorsement of the Whatcom County
Council for the expansion project; and
WHEREAS, the expansion is a component of the civic infrastructure serving
library users of the Deming, Nugent's Corner, Lawrence, Harmony, South Fork Valley,
Kendall, Newhalem, and Maple Falls areas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Whatcom County Council
wholeheartedly appreciates and endorses the expansion project and believes this
expansion will be a great asset to the foothills community.
