RESOLUTION NO. 2004 -027
HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
REQUEST NO. 04_04
1 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been the property of the
2 County of Whatcom, State of Washington since: as noted per parcel below and,
3 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best interest of the County
4 and the people thereof that said property be sold; and,
5 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Property Management Committee recommends the
6 sale of the subject property by public auction to effectively meet the legal requirement for
7 disposal;
8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest of the County to
9 sell:

12 Tax -Title property acquired 11/16/01 Civil Case #01 -2- 01047 -2
13 The principal taxes, interest, penalty, title search and foreclosure costs total $881.62.
14 to the highest and best bidder; and,
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Wbatcom County Council, that a public hearing
16 on the matter of the sale of said property, under said terms, be held on the 20 day of April
17 2004, at 7 p.m., at the Council Chambers , Whatcom County, Washington; and,
18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County Council shall give
19 notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law under RCW 36.34.030.
