Phone: 13601 676 -6730 County: 13601 380 -8110 FAX: (360) 676 -6558 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 48 49 50 SPONSORED BY: Consent PROPOSED BY: Public Works - Engineering INTRODUCTION DATE: 2110104 ORDINANCE NO. 2004 -010 AN ORDINANCE REGARDING ESTABLISHMENT OF SPEED LIMITS ON CERTAIN COUNTY ROADS WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council is authorized under RCW 46.61.415 to establish speed limits on certain County roads; and WHEREAS, a review was conducted by the County Engineer's office; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the speed limits be established as follows: 1) 25 mph on all roads North, Range 4 Easi 2) 25 mph on all roads Township 38 North, 3) 25 mph on all roads Township 40 North, 4) 25 mph on all roads Township 38 North, within the plat of Sandy Ridge, Section 29, Township 39 , W.M. within the plat of Spring Creek all divisions, Section 7, Range 3 East, W.M. within the plat of Bay Crest all divisions, Section 31, Range 1 East, W.M. within the plat of Trickle Creek all divisions, Section 16, Range 3 East, W. M. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to post the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the Washington State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
