HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
REQUEST NO. 2005 -05
1 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been the property
2 of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington since: as noted per parcel below and,
3 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best interest of
4 the County and the people thereof that said property be sold; and,
5 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Property Management Committee
6 recommends the sale of the subject property by public auction to effectively meet the
7 legal requirement for disposal;
8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest of the
9 County to sell:
10 Tax -Title parcel # 400521 - 541341 -0000, acquired 11/17/2000 Tax Case #1592;
11 CAMPERS PARADISE NO 2 LOT 92 -TOG WI UNDIV -EQUAL INT IN ALL RD ESMTS-
12 EXC ALL OIL - GAS -MIN RTS AS RES AF 1160899
13 For the principal taxes, interest, penalty, title search and foreclosure costs total
14 $1,578.97 to the highest and best bidder; and,
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that a public
16 hearing on the matter of the sale of said property, under said terms, be held on the
17 11 eh day of pct _ 2005, at 7 : oo p.m., at the Council Chambers. Courthouse
18 Whatcom County, Washington; and,
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County Council
20 shall give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law under RCW
21 36.34.030.
