Resolution amending CRP No. 998023 to include the construction of the Sunrise Road Improvements from
Birch Bay - Lynden to W. Badger Road. Also approval of construction contract award to IMCO General
Construction, Inc. as low bidder in the amount of 83,259,945.60.

AMENDING RESOLUTION No. 2004 -047 ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 998023
AND AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR THE
`'SUNRISE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS FROM BIRCH BAY - LYNDEN ROAD TO WEST BADGER
ROAD°
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted 2005 Annual Construction Program as
Item No. 1;
WHEREAS, the CRP for this project was officially established under Resolution No. 2004 -047 to
initiate the Wetland Mitigation for the road improvements;
WHEREAS, the original CRP amount of $159,980.00 shall be increased to cover the costs for the
design, right -of -way and construction of related road improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council
That CRP 998023 is formally amended to include the construction of the Sunrise Road
Improvements from Birch Bay - Lynden Road to West Badger Road.
The Contract for this project is awarded to IMCO General Construction, Inc. in the amount
of their bid of $3,259,945.60.
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget and based on the County
Road Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
