It is the intent of the Board of Supervisors of the flood control zone district that the activities funded through the district and this Subzone be continued for the next year, as the district needs a continuing source of funding during that time. This resolution will extend the funding mechanism through 2007. For purposes of this resolution, the term "parcel" is defined to include auxiliary residential units, such as condominiums and mobile homes when they are not included in the parent land parcel. Fees for all parcels designated as "Open Space ", Classified Forest Land, Designated Forest Land and Non - commercial Forest and Forest Reserves will be reduced by 40 %. However, in no instance shall the reduction operate to reduce the amount owing below the $5.00 minimum per parcel. Flood hazard areas, for purposes of this resolution, are defined as those areas mapped as 100 -year floodplains or alluvial fans as shown on the latest maps produced by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and being used by the County for administering the Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following parcels are exempt from paying fees to the LyndenlEverson Subzone: a. All parcels exclusively classified as mineral rights, d. All parcels owned by the State, classified as "bedlands or tidelands", e. All parcels with assessed value less than or equal to $2,500.
