RESOLUTION NO. 2006 -054
AMENDING RESOLUTION No. 2006 -051 THAT AUTHORIZED FUNDS FOR ROAD
IMPROVEMENTS TO MARINE DRIVE AND AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE
AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR "MARINE DRIVE CULVERT REHABILITATION LOCUST
AVENUE VICINITY"
WHEREAS, this work is part of the Marine Drive Project and is included in the officially adopted
2006 Annual Construction Program as Item No. 3;
WHEREAS, the amended CRP amount of $1,970,625.00 shall be increased by $94,350.00 to cover
the costs for the right -of -way and construction of related culvert improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 901001 is formally amended to include the Marine Drive Culvert Rehabilitation
Locust Avenue Vicinity.
The Contract for this project is awarded to Award Construction, Inc. in the amount of their
bid of 589,350.00
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget and based on the County
Road Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:
