Ordinance revising Ferry Petty Cash Revolving Fund that transfers funds from the Road Fund cash balance
to the Ferry Operations Fund cash balance and increases the fund balance by $200.00 to a total of $1000.00

ORDINANCE NO. 2006- 042
REVISION TO THE ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE FERRY PETTY CASH
REVOLVING FUND
WHEREAS, Whatcom County Ordinance No 02 -040 revised Whatcom County Ordinance
No 88 -15 which established the Ferry Petty Cash Revolving Fund to be paid from the Road Fund
cash balance; and
WHEREAS, in December 2005 a Ferry Operations Fund was created; and
WHEREAS, the funds in the Ferry Petty Cash Revolving Fund should now be transferred
from the Road Fund cash balance to the Ferry Operations Fund cash balance; and
WHEREAS, an additional TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00) is needed to facilitated
the sales of Ferry passes at the Civic Center Annex,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the Ferry
Petty Cash Revolving Fund shall be transferred from the Road Fund to the Ferry Operations
Fund, and
LET IT BE FURTHER ORDAINED THAT, the total Petty Cash Fund be increased by the
amount of TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00) to a total of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS
($1000.00) to be maintained in the Ferry Operations Fund cash balance.
