Supplemental #13 requestsfundingfrom the General Fund:
(1) To appropriate $17,984 to the Sheriff s Office to fund ID system and protective film for office
windows from gaming proceeds.
(2) To appropriate $22,206 to the Parks Department to fund Canyon Lake Bridge repairs from grant
proceeds.
(3) To appropriate $4,919 to Non Departmental to fund additional Boundary Review Board support.
(4) To appropriate $200,000 to Non Departmental to fund a transfer to the Flood Fund for water
resource project list development.
Requests funding from the Whatcom County Jail Fund:
(5) To appropriate $154,560 to fund Snohomish County jail beds for October through December 2006.
(6) To appropriate $42,000 to fund minimum security facility bunk beds.
Requests funding from the Flood Control Zone District.
(7) To appropriate $200,000 to fund water resources project list development from general fund transfer
proceeds.
Requests funding from the Road Improvement Guarantee Fund:
(8) To appropriate $52,627 to fund transfer to RID 0 for final CE" loan payment.

ORDINANCE NO. 2006 -040
AMENDMENT NO. 13 OF THE 2006 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2005 -2006 budget was adopted November 9, 2004; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2005 -2006
budget; and,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2005-
2006 Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2004 -059 is hereby amended by adding the
following additional amounts to the budgets included therein:
