Consent: PROPOSED BY: Public Works INTRODUCTION DATE: _ bme 6.2006 ORDINANCE NO. 2006 -027 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT SUBZONE WHEREAS, RCW 86.15.025 authorizes the division of the County -wide Flood Control Zone District into separately designated subzones; and WHEREAS, RCW 86.15.025 authorizes the establishment of such subzones by resolution of the Council and further states that RCW 86.15.020 and 86.15.030 do not apply to the establishment of such subzones; and WHEREAS, as the Samish Lake Management District No. 1 Adisory Committee has requested the formation of such a subzone; and WHEREAS, a map and legal description of said Samish Watershed Subzone is included in this Ordinance as attached Exhibit "A ". NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the Samish Watershed Subzone of the Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District is hereby established.
