To comply with RCW 46.61.200 and 47.36.110, it is found necessary and expedient to modify traffic control
signs on Mill Road at Johnson Road intersection.

7 AN ORDINANCE REGARDING INSTALLING STOP SIGNS
8 ON MILL ROAD

11 WHEREAS, in compliance with RCW 46.61.200 and 47.36.110, it is found necessary
12 and expedient to modify traffic control signs on certain County Roads; and
13
14 WHEREAS, it was found that the existing intersection of Johnson Road and Mill Road
15 should be modified from a two -way stop to a four -way stop.

17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the
18 following be added to the Whatcom County Code Section 10. 16.890 as follows:

20 10.16.890 Generally.

26 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to install
27 the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff be notified by a copy of this
