The responsibility to collect legal financial obligations front
convicted felons has been statutorily shifted from the Department of
Corrections to County Clerks.
Increased collections efforts at the county level will result in
increased cash receipting transactions in the office of the County
Clerk requiring the acquisition of and installation of a second cash
register.
This ordinance would establish a second Petty Cash Revolving Fund
— County Clerk Collections.

S EST.ABLISHNG A S200.00 PETTY CASH
9 REVOLVING FUND FOR THE COUNTY CLERK
10 WHEREAS, the responsibility to collect legal financial obligations from
convicted felons has been statutorily shifted from the Department of Corrections to County
11 Clerks, and,
12 WHEREAS, increased collections efforts at the county level will result in
I= increased cash receipting transactions in the office of the County Clerk requiring the
acquisition of and installation of a second cash register, and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that a second Petty Cash Revolving
15 Fund - County Clerk Collections is hereby established and the County Treasurer is directed
to issue a warrant in the amount of $200.00 on the Current Expense Fund to establish the
16 imprest amount of said fund.
