RESOLUTION NO. 2007 -022
HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
REQUEST NO. TR2007 -01
1 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been the property
2 of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington since: as noted per parcel below and,
3 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best interest of
4 the County and the people thereof that said property be sold; and,
5 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Property Management Committee
6 recommends that the resolution be passed to effectively meet the legal requirement for
7 the disposal; .
8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest of the
9 County to sell:
10 Parcel # 390705.505215.0000
11 SNOWLINE DIV NO 1 LOT 95 SEC 05 TWN 39 RGE 07
12 For no less than the principal taxes, interest, penalty, title search and foreclosure
13 costs of $1,067.31 to the highest and best bidder; and,
14 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that a public
15 hearing on the matter of the sale of said property, under said terms, be held on the
16 22 day of May 2007, at 7 p.m., at the County Courthouse Chambers,
17 Whatcom County, Washington; and,
18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County Council
19 shall give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law under RCW
20 36.34.030.
