Supplemental #10 requests funding from the General Fund.
(1) To appropriate $9,248 in Parks & Recreation to fund ,114 mile of chipsealing on the Interurban Trail.
(2) To appropriate $38,400 in the Sheriffs Office to fund vehicle replacements.
(3) To appropriate $58,439 in the Sheriffs Office to fund eq uipm entpurchases from grant proceeds.
(4) To appropriate $6,226 in Non Departmental to fund additional Boundary Review Board costs.
(5) To appropriate $20,000 in Non-Departmental to fund WhatComm E911 operations costs from grant
proceeds.
(6) To appropriate $298,685 in Non Departmental to fund Whatcom Humane Society animal control
start-up costs.

(7) To appropriate $30,800 to fund additional costs for a Jail Co-op transport vehicle.
From the Conservation Futures Fund.
(8) To appropriate $510,000 to fund Maple Falls land acquisition.

ORDINANCE NO. 2007 -046
AMENDMENT NO. 10 OF THE 2007 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2007 -2008 budget was adopted November 8, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2007 -2008
budget; and,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2007-
2008 Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2006 -054 is hereby amended by adding the
following additional amounts to the budgets included therein:
