This request is to increase the petty cash account for WC Public Works Engineering Services by $100.00 for a
total petty cash account of $300.00 for the purpose of ensuring sufficient cash is available to make change for the
public at the service counter for permits, sale of copies and publications, and to make small purchases.

ORDINANCE NO. 2007 -039
AN ORDINANCE IN THE MATTER OF INCREASING THE ENGINEERING SERVICES PETTY
CASH REVOLVING FUND FROM $200.00 TO $300.00
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Northwest Annex Engineer's Office to maintain a
petty cash fund in order to have change available when issuing permits and address
assignments, and when selling copies, maps, and publications made in the Engineer's Office,
and
WHEREAS a petty cash fund for the Northwest Annex Engineer's Office was
established by resolution on September 22, 1961, increased to $100.00 by Resolution #E -78 -35
on July 26, 1978, and increased to $200.00 by Resolution #80 -76 on December 18, 1980, and
WHEREAS, the amount now available is insufficient and it is essential to have sufficient
cash available to conduct business transactions and issue permits in said office,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the amount of the petty cash fund for the
Northwest Annex Engineer's Office be increased to $300.00; and
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a Treasurer's check be issued in the amount of
$100.0 d l ly6v of increasing that particular Petty Cash Revolving Fund to $300.00.
