Supplemental #3 requests funding from the General Fund.
(1) To appropriate $274,622 in Non Departmental to fund transfers to other funds for salmon recovery,
Lake "atcom monitoring and replacing a Courthouse chiller unit
(2) To appropriate $20,000 in County Council to fund legal services
(3) To appropriate 515,000 in the Sheriffs Office to fund equipment from Homeland Security grant
proceeds.
From the Flood Fund.
(4) To appropriate $15,000 to fund Canyon Creek salmon recovery project from prior year Nooksack
Tribe contribution.
(5) To reappropriate $348,716 to fund the Lake Whatcom monitoring project
From the Conservation Futures Fund.
(6) To appropriate 5181,550 to fund Dickson farm purchase of development rights.
From the Public Utilities Improvement Fund.
(7) To reappropriate $300.000 to partially fund WS U's NW Washington Ag Research Center project:
From the Administrative Services Fund.
(8) To reappropriate.$69,000 to fund the replacement of a Courthouse air cooled chiller unit.

ORDINANCE NO. 2007 -020
AMENDMENT NO.3 OF THE 2007 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2007 -2008 budget was adopted November 8, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2007 -2008
budget; and,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2007-
2008 Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2006 -054 is hereby amended by adding the
following additional amounts to the budgets included therein:
