7 ESTABLISHING REGULAR WHATCOM COUNTY COUNCIL
8 MEETING DATES FOR 2010

10 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council has set every other Tuesday as its
11 regular meeting schedule; and
12
13 WHEREAS, all departments should plan to schedule items in accordance with the
14 Council's approved meeting schedule to avoid the need for special meetings; and
15
16 WHEREAS, it is the Council's policy to plan for breaks in its schedule at the end
17 of August and December and to avoid scheduling meetings on a few select dates during
18 the year.

20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that
21 regular Council meetings shall be scheduled for the following dates in 2010:

23 January: 12, 26
24 February: 9, 23
25 March: 16, 30
26 April: 13, 27
27 May: 11, 25
28 June: 8, 22
29 July: 13, 27
30 August: 10
31 September: 14, 28
32 October: 12, 26
33 November: 9, 23
34 December: 7
