11 Repealing Ordinance 98-075, amending the Flood Control
12 Repair and Maintenance Program

14 WHEREAS, in making changes to the code governing the flood control repair and
15 maintenance program in 2008 , the Whatcom County Council repealed Ordinance 97 - 027 by
16 enacting Ordinance 2008- 047 and the Flood Control Zone District Board of Supervisors enacted
17 a resolution establishing the criteria and procedures for the repair and maintenance program ;
18 and

20 WHEREAS, an ordinance of the Whatcom County Council relating to the flood control
21 repair and maintenance program was inadvertently excluded from the ordinance repealing
22 Ordinance 97 - 027 and should be repealed to avoid any conflict with the 2008 enactments of the
23 Council and Flood Control Zone District Board of Supervisors

26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that Ordinance
27 98 - 075 is hereby repealed . .
