To comply with RCW 46. 61. 200 and 47. 36. 110, it is found necessary and expedient to modify traffic control
signs on Vista Drive at Brown Road intersection.

6 AN ORDINANCE REGARDING INSTALLING STOP SIGNS
7 ON VISTA DRIVE

9 WHEREAS , in compliance with RCW 46 . 61 . 200 and 47 . 36 . 110 , it is found necessary
10 and expedient to modify traffic control signs on certain County Roads ; and
11
12 WHEREAS , a traffic study was conducted by the County Engineers office ; and
13
14 WHEREAS , it was found that the existing intersection of Vista Drive and Brown Road
15 should be modified from a two-way stop to a four-way stop .

17 NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the
18 following be added to the Whatcom County Code 10 . 16 as follows :

22 Vista Drive NB Brown Road
23 Vista Drive SB Brown Road

25 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to install
26 the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff be notified by a copy of this
27 ordinance .
