( ) Yes ( ) NO Requested Date: SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE: The Washington State Legislature has appropriated funds to clean up naturally occurring asbestos from Swift Creek. Michael and Marilyn Parker own real property located at 3421 South Pass Road, Everson. The Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District (FCZD) and the State of Washington have identified this property as desirable for controlling naturally occurring asbestos. Budget authority exists in the FCZD 2010 budget. The acquisition needs to be approved by the Flood Control Zone District Council Board of Supervisors.
