Supplemental #18 requests funding from the General Fund:
1. To appropriate $47,903 in Sheriff to fund overtime and impact costs of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympics
games with grant proceeds.
From the Election Reserve Fund:
2. To appropriate $52,000 to fund the fourth election of 2010.
From the LEOFF I Healthcare Fund:
3. To appropriate $100,000 to fund unanticipated LEOFF I costs.
From the Conservation Futures Fund:
4. To appropriate $26,000 to fund an appraisal/valuation contract.
From the 2010 Limited Tax GO and Refunding Bond Fund
5. To appropriate $26,300 to fund bond issue costs.

ORDINANCE NO . 2010-068
AMENDMENT NO. 18 OF THE 2010 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2009-2010 budget was adopted November 25 , 2008 ; and ,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2009-2010
budget; and ,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2009-
2010 Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2008-053 is hereby amended by adding the
following additional amounts to the budgets included therein : .
