Supplemental #12 requests funding from the General Fund:
1. To appropriate $13, 000 in Non Departmental to fund WhatComm Communication Center E911
operations from grant proceeds.
2. To appropriate $22,521 in Sheriff to fund . 5 FTE Drug Task Force records specialist position from grant
proceeds.
3. To appropriate $213, 900 in Sheriff to fund DHS FFY2009 Operation Stonegarden program from grant
proceeds.
4. To appropriate $5, 000 in Sheriff to fund entry level testing to establish required civil service register from
grant proceeds.
From the Emergency Management Fund:
5. To appropriate $829, 580 in Emergency Management to fund DHS FFY2009 Operation Stonegarden
program from grant proceeds.
From the Public Utilities Improvement Fund:
6. To appropriate $25, 000 to fund Northwest Economic Council contract

ORDINANCE NO . 2010-029
AMENDMENT NO . 12 OF THE 2010 BUDGET
WHEREAS , the 2009-2010 budget was adopted November 25 , 2008 ; and ,
WHEREAS , changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2009-2010
budget; and ,
WHEREAS , the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2009-
2010 Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2008-053 is hereby amended by adding the
following additional amounts to the budgets included therein :
