Project Budget Request #2 requests funding from the Public Utilities Improvement Fund:
(1) To appropriate $250, 000 to fund transfer to East Whatcom Regional Resource Center Fund.
From the East Whatcom Regional Resource Center Fund:
(2) To appropriate $250, 000 to fund additional pre-construction phase activities for the East Whatcom
Regional Resource Center. .

ORDINANCE NO. 2010- 022
PROJECT BUDGET AMENDMENT NO.2 OF THE 2010 BUDGET
WHEREAS , the 2009-2010 budget was adopted November 25 , 2008 ; and ,
WHEREAS , changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2009-2010
budget; and ,
WHEREAS, Section 6 . 80 of the Whatcom County Home Rule Charter allows for project-
based capital budget appropriation ordinances that lapse when the project has been completed
or abandoned or when no expenditure or encumbrance has been made for three (3) years , and ,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council .

NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2009-
2010 Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2008-053 is hereby amended by adding the
following additional amounts to the budgets included therein :
