Supplemental #8 requests funding from the General Fund:
1. To appropriate $35, 000 in Non Departmental to fund Northwest Economic Council's CERB grant for IRC
activities.
2. To appropriate $190, 000 in Non. Departmental to fund change orders for Civic Center project.
3. To appropriate $4, 000 in Extension to fund reimbursable expense activities.
4. To appropriate $3,936 in Planning & Development Services to fund remainder of Transpo Group contract
5. To appropriate $49,325 in Sheriff's Office to fund Boating Safety grant activities.
6. To appropriate $46, 682 in Sheriffs Office to fund interlocal agreement with Whatcom County Housing
Authority for Records Specialist position.
From the Auditor 's O&M Fund:
7. To reappropriate $24, 000 to fund maps on the internet project.
From Real Estate Excise Tax Fund I:
8. To appropriate $190, 000 to fund additional transfer for Civic Center project change orders.

ORDINANCE NO . 2010- 017
AMENDMENT NO. 8 OF THE 2010 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2009-2010 budget was adopted November 25 , 2008 ; and ,
WHEREAS , changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2009-2010
budget; and ,
WHEREAS , the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2009-
2010 Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2008-053 is hereby amended by adding the
following additional amounts to the budgets included therein :
