Revokes the ordinance which established Whatcom County Mental Health and Substance Abuse Revolving Fund
since the revolving fund is no longer in use and has not been used since 2003 . Funds will be returned to the
Whatcom County Treasurer.

11 Substance Abuse Revolving Fund

14 WHEREAS, ordinance 96 - 032 established the Whatcom County Mental Health and
15 Substance Abuse Revolving Fund ;
16
17 WHEREAS, other funding sources and procedures now provide for the services
18 previously supported by this fund ;
19
20 WHEREAS, the fund is no longer necessary for its authorized use ;
21
22 WHEREAS, the fund has not been used since 2003 ;
23
24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the
25 Whatcom County Mental Health and Substance Abuse Revolving Fund be revoked and the funds
26 on deposit in this account returned to the Whatcom County Treasurer.
