AMENDING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT No. 911003 AND AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR
THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR"MOSQUITO LK RD / NORTH FORK NOOKSACK BRIDGE NO.
332 SCOUR MITIGATION."
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted 2013 Annual Construction Program
as Item No. 28;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that CRP No. 911003 is
formally amended to include the construction of the Mosquito Lk Rd/North Fork Nooksack Bridge
No. 332 Scour Mitigation. The Contract for this project is awarded to Matia Contractors,Inc. in
the amount of their bid of$147,790.00.
An appropriation from the officially adopted Road Fund Budget and based on the County
Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown:

Preliminary Engineering $45,000
Right-of-Way $0
Subtotal $45,000
Construction Contract $147,790
Construction Engineering/Testing/Contingency $55,000
