The Council Office will still take in cash for photocopies,CDs,agenda subscriptions,etc.but will will not be able to make change. Citizens will have to pay with exact change. All funds received will be regularly deposited with the County Treasurer. SPONSORED BY: Consent PROPOSED BY: Council Clerk INTRODUCTION DATE: 2/14/12 ORDINANCE NO. 2012-009 REPEALING ORDINANCE 2001-048 ESTABLISHING A PETTY CASH REVOLVING FUND FOR THE COUNCIL OFFICE WHEREAS, Whatcom County Ordinance 2001-048 established a petty cash fund for the Council Office; and WHEREAS, the petty cash fund for the Council Office was set at Twenty Dollars ($20.00); and WHEREAS, the Council Office no longer desires to maintain a petty cash fund; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the Council Office Petty Cash Revolving fund shall be closed and TWENTY ($20.00) shall be returned to the General Fund.
