Supplemental#5 requests funding from the General Fund:
1. To re-appropriate$16,400 in District Court for purchase of JAVS court recording equipment upgrade.
2. To appropriate$5,820 in Parks to fund Nesset Farm caretaker position from rental proceeds.
3. To appropriate$149,837 in Sheriff to fund FFY2010 Operation Stonegarden Program.
4. To appropriate$29,200 in Sheriff to fund continuation of records management system project from grant proceeds.
5. To appropriate$212,994 in Non Departmental to fund energy efficiency Community Energy Challenge program.
6. To appropriate$305,379 in Non Departmental to fund Opportunity Council Housing Rehab program from CDBG
grant proceeds.

7. To appropriate$10,097 to fund jail controls project debt service adjustment.
Countywide Emergency Medical Services Fund:
8. To appropriate$1,000 to fund Medic One Planning Committee admin support.

ORDINANCE NO. 2012-007
AMENDMENT NO. 5 OF THE 2012 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2011-2012 budget was adopted November 23, 2010; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2011-2012
budget; and,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2011-
2012 Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2010-058 is hereby amended by adding the
following additional amounts to the 2012 budget included therein:
