To comply with RCW 46.61.200 and 47.36.110, it is found necessary and expedient to modify traffic control
signs at various intersections.

ORDINANCE NO.2013-062
INSTALLING STOP SIGNS ON VARIOUS ROADS WITHIN THE COUNTY
WHEREAS, in compliance with RCW 46.61.200 and 47.36.110, it is found necessary and
expedient to install traffic control signs on certain County Roads; and
WHEREAS, sight distance is reduced to an unsafe level; and
WHEREAS, it is found necessary to install stop signs, to help control traffic, at the
following locations:
Road Name Direction Cross Street
-Stopping
Hovel Road SB North Telegraph Road
North Telegraph Road NB Morgan Road
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the above be
added to the Whatcom County Code Section 10.16.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to install the
appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
