The Public Works Department no longer wants to maintain petty cash funds for Engineering Services, Road
Design/Construction, and ER&R.

8 REPEALING ORDINANCES 2009-035, 2006-041, AND 87-19 ESTABLISHING
9 PETTY CASH REVOLVING FUNDS FOR PUBLIC WORKS ENGINEERING
10 SERVICES, ROAD DESIGN/CONSTRUCTION, AND ER&R FUNDS

12 WHEREAS, Whatcom County Ordinances 2009-045, 2006-041, and 87-19
13 established a petty cash fund for Public Work Engineering Service, Road
14 Design/Construction and ER&R funds;

16 WHEREAS, the petty cash funds for Public Works Engineering Services was set at
17 One Hundred Dollars ($100), for Public Works Design/Construction was set at One Hundred
18 Dollars ($100), and for Public Works ER&R was set at Two Hundred Dollars ($200); and

20 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department no longer desires to maintain these petty
21 cash funds;

23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the
24 Public Works Engineering Services and Road Design/Construction Petty Cash Revolving
25 Funds shall be closed and Two Hundred Dollars ($200) be returned to the Road Fund, and
26 ER&R Petty Cash Revolving Fund be closed and Two Hundred Dollars ($200) be returned to
27 the ER&R fund.
