ORDINANCE NO. 2014-024
INSTALLING STOP SIGNS ON ROADS WITHIN THE COUNTY
WHEREAS, stop sign installation has been requested by a citizen; and
WHEREAS, in compliance with RCW 46.61.200 and 47.36.110, to install traffic control
signs on certain County Roads; and
WHEREAS, it is found possible to install stop signs, to help control traffic, at the
following location: Brown Road and Olson Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the following
be added to the Whatcom County Code Section 10.16 as follows:
Road Name Direction Cross Street
-Stopping
Brown Road Eastbound Olson Road
Brown Road Westbound Olson Road
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to install the
appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
ADOPTED this 8th day of April , 2014.
